Verstappen.com Racing is represented in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup (GTWC Sprint) by Thierry Vermeulen, who drives a Ferrari 296 GT3 of Emil Frey Racing. The 21-year-old Dutchman made his appearance last weekend during the event at Misano in Italy, the second round of the season. Thierry Vermeulen and his teammate Altoe Giacomo finished third and fourth in the two GTWC races in Misano.

“After a solid weekend in Misano with a P3 and a P4 after strong execution of the team and the drivers, I think we can be happy”, reflects Thierry. “We are catching up on points, this is a very tight championship so we will try to move forward. We will have a couple of weeks rest now for the GT World Challenge.”

Thierry continues: “But this weekend we are back with the DTM in Lausitzring. We’ve had a test here in the past so I hope we are prepared well. There is no testing day before the weekend so it will be very important to nail the setup in the free practices and get up to speed quickly. I am super excited to get going and I hope you will follow along and perhaps some of you will be at the track.”
