Thierry Vermeulen has the honour to kick-off the Verstappen.com Racing 2025 season, as the 22 year old Dutchman will participate in 24H Dubai upcoming weekend.
Thierry is looking forward to the event, for which he will – as a one-off – drive the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Team Motopark. He says: “This will be my first race of the year and I am super excited to be back in Dubai for the 24H race. It’s always a great event to participate in. This will be my fourth year in a row taking part, though with a new car this year: a Mercedes GT3 together with Motopark.”
Thierry will be sharing the seat with Frédéric Jousset, Sebastián Álvarez, Levente Révész and Lin Hodenius. He adds: “Like I said, it will be my first time in a Mercedes so we will use the two test days to get up to speed and get comfortable with the car. It’s a long week so it’s important to stay focused. For a 24H race it is important to have a good strategy and to not make any mistakes throughout the week, so that will be our main focus. I am thrilled to start off my 2025 season like this, let’s race!”
The 24H Dubai will start on Saturday 11 January at 10.00 CET and will finish on Sunday 12 January at 10.00 CET. More info and a live stream and live timing via https://www.24hseries.com/races/michelin-24h-dubai-2025
