Max previews Singapore: 'Unfinished business'

Max Verstappen won the Bahrain GP in Malaysia, his first victory of 2026 and also the first win for Red Bull Ford Powertrains. A big achievement. The Dutch Oracle Red Bull Racing driver reflects: “It was an incredible feeling to win in Malaysia and a hugely proud moment for the team, being our first win as a power unit manufacturer. It felt like a long time coming and a special achievement for everyone. We are just trying to keep improving the car every race and hopefully we can continue this good form into Singapore, being the last race of this triple header.”
Max continues: “I think the win was quite track specific so we will need to see how we go heading into this week. I enjoy this track as a street circuit, and it has a lot of corners and is quite bumpy. The heat is obviously a factor but at least we are racing at night race this time around. Singapore is a race that I haven’t won before, so it does feel like unfinished business at this track.”
