Damon Hill his first try in the new Jordan.

Just one day after the presentation, the team of Jordan took the new car to the circuit of Silverstone near their factory for it's first shake down test. It was a short test of only four laps where the team checks the technical functions of the car, so no set-up work was done. Despite the few laps, Damon Hill was already very pleased with the car. Also today, Damon will continue testing at Silverstone. After that the team will pack it's things and move towards Barcelona where the first real testing will take place together with other teams and Frentzen will make his debut in the Jordan.
