M. Schumacher criticised new tyres

Michael Schumacher has criticised the new tyres introduced this season in Formula One. The 1999 front tyres have an additional fourth groove. Schumacher stated: "The new tyres make the cars substantially slower, they make driving less exciting". The Ferrari driver said he believed he could take the title again. "I'm in the car, I know what's going on and I know I can become the world champion with this car", answering criticism from former world champion Niki Lauda who said he believed Ferrari would not make it.
