Mika Häkkinen has won the Grand Prix of Spain leading from start to finish. Both McLarens started in front of the rest of the field and finished one and two. Michael Schumacher finished third with team-mate Irvine on fourth. Ralph Schumacher received 2 points with a fifth position with Trulli on sixth.
