Despite troublesome training Jos is hopefull

In the free practice of this morning Jos was very busy. Besides the normal preparations for the qualification the team planned to prepare 2 sets of front tyres. In yesterday's training is appeared that the Arrows has optimal grip with used tyres at the front and new tyres at the rear. Jos did not manage to prepare his second set, at about 10.30 his right rear suspension broke and Jos went off track at full speed. Luckily he gravel did its work and slowed Jos down. HE was unable to drive the rest of the training in his car and used Enrique's car in the last ten minutes.


Hopefull for the afternoon

Straight after the practice Jos told us that he was positive for the qualification, although they did not manage to prepare two sets of tyres. Jos did not know what position on the grid he could take but he hoped for 13th.
Fastest in the practice was David Coulthard, who left Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello and Mika Häkkinen just behind him. The Williams drivers Juan-Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher concluded the top 6, Jos got stuck on position 14.
