First free practice Monaco

Michael Schumacher was fastest on the narrow streets of Monaco in the first free practice. David Coulthard was 0.8 seconds behind him and behind him the two Jordans, Barrichello and Mika Hakkinen.
A lot of attention went out to Jos he was driving with a very conspicuous structure on the nose of his A22; the return of the X-wing? Jos finished on 15th position.
