Hakkinen fastest, Jos 13th

On a sunny Magny Cours the first free practice has just finished. Not a lot of surprises. Hakkinen was fastest, followed by M. Schumacher. Jos Verstappen drove 20 laps and his fastest time of 1.17.495 was good for 13th place, just in front of his teammate Enrique Bernoldi.
