Coulthard fastest after first practice day, 'uncle' Jos 18th

"It is a girl called Noah and is 53 centimeters tall", this information was given to Jos by Raymond Vermeulen just before the second practice session. Jos's sister just had given birth and with this knowledge 'uncle Jos' started his second training session. Jos was just on his way when his engine blew. This was not only disappointing for Jos but also for Enrique who had to give up his car to Jos. This confirms again who is the no. 1 driver at OrangeArrows. Jos was able to improve his time slightly, both Arrows drivers are at the back of the grid; Jos on 18 and Enrique on 19th place.

At the top were some surprising drivers, unless they have driven with very little fuel. Coulthard fastest was no surprise but on second and third we saw Eddie Irvine and Jacques Villeneuve. Michael Schumacher could be found on place 7.

Jos: "These practice sessions are used to determine the right setup and the right choice of tyres. In the second hour you continue to do that, look at the tyres and make long runs. You can understand that a blown engine derails the whole schedule."
