Jos drops back to 18th in second free practice

Despite that Jos manages to improve his time twice and lapped a fastest time of 1.19.368 he ended up with the backmarkers, just in front of Enrique Bernoldi. Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello kept their 1st and 2nd position.

Jos 18th today
Remarkable was Jean Alesi's performance. His first session was terrible but his second one was twice as good, he ended up on 6th position in 1.17.862. Almost half a second faster than his team mate Jarno Trulli, who came 12th.

Prost debutant Frentzen ended the second practice session on a 14th place, almost 2 seconds faster than Luciano Burti who had a longer time with the French team.
