Jos and management meet Paul Stoddard

Jos Verstappen, Huub Rothengatter and Raymond Vermeulen were in the Hilton Hotel at Heathrow this afternoon for a meeting with Paul Stoddard. After the announcement confirming Justin Wilson as one of the Minardi drivers they spoke about the possibilities to get Jos in the second Minardi seat. The meeting was open and honest. Jos and Paul have known eachother for a long time of course and that makes it less complicated.

Nothing has been signed yet but everyone had a positive feeling after this afternoon's meeting. Both parties have some homework to do and hopefully that will bring some new things. No new meeting has been planned but can be arranged on a short notice. Mainly commercial and technical issues have been discussed and a lot of information has been exchanged. Raymond said that it looks very good on both issues. They only have to remove the last obstacles to come to a mutual agreement which will hopefully be completed shortly.
