First outing for Jos in the Minardi PS03

Today is the day we have been waiting for. At the Fiorano circuit the shakedown with the new Minardi PS03 will take place. Jos arrived in the factory yesterday to find a setup for the steering wheel and pedals. Jos will be the first one today to drive the car. An exciting day for the Minardi team. After a whole years' work, today the car will have its first outing and the team will find out whether they have done a good job. Jos will do short runs of 1-2 laps to find and feel if the car needs adjustments, lap times will be ignored.

If everything goes well Justin Wilson will take over the steering wheel, he needs to get familiarised with the car as well. We hope to be able to post the first photographs of the PS03. The photographs will show a completely black car without any sponsering. The car will be driving on Bridgestone tyres, Paul Stoddart managed to finalise a deal with the tyre manufacturer earlier this week.
