Monday in Melbourne

Raymond Vermeulen and Jos Verstappen are about to go to bed after a full day of promotional activities. The time difference is 10 hours and their day is over.

After a good night's rest some promotional obligations were scheduled from 10.00am onwards together with the Minardi team. A photo shoot on the highest building of Melbourne with Jos and Justin and a pressconference. After that they went to the local zoo. Jos posed with some Mandrils and Justin with the giraffes, spot the differences...

After lunch with Paul Stoddart they opened a new branche of Puma. When all of that was over they went for some relaxation on the poolside and now he's gone to bed.

Tomorrow the Minardi team will continue their promotional tour, this time with a tramrace through Melbourne. Two trams will race each other; one will be driven by Paul Stoddart and the Australian Minister of Transport. The other one by Jos and Justin.

We had the chance to ask Jos about the launch control and powersteering of his car. Apparently a lot of confusion is amongst the fans. Jos: "I will start without launch control, something I can't get really concerned about. It is very likely that we will have the new powersteering installed before the Brasilian Grand Prix."

More news from 'Down Under' tomorrow and hopefully with some photographs.
