In dry conditions Rubens Barrichello drove the fastest lap time. World Champion Schumacher had to go out first but in the end there was a gap of 0,8 seconds between him and Rubens, which gave him fourth place.

Jos manages to position himself on 18th

The biggest surprise came from the BAR Honda team, excellent third place for Villeneuven and his team mate Button was fifth.

Disappointing was the performance of the BMW Williams team, especially Ralf Schumacher was way behind due to a serious steering mistake.




Jos concentrating on the things to come

Jos manages to position himself on 18th, in front of team mate Wilson. Jos will be the third one tomorrow to establish a qualification time.
