Jos happy with first qualifying time

Published on 05 April 2003 by Huub Rothengatter

Ten minutes after the first qualification session for the Brasilian Grand Prix we spoke with Jos. He was happy with today's results: "We hardly had any problems today except the pouring rain was somewhat of a problem. There was no sense in trying to set a lap time in those conditions. I am quite satisfied with my time. I have to admit that I haven't pushed to the limit, we have to be careful and don't crash unnecessarily. Bridgestone has taken tyres which are not suitable for these rainy conditions, they are more like intermediated than full rain tyres. Nothing else to complain about, we were going well and both Greg Wheeler and Paul Stoddart were satisfied. Let's have more rain tomorrow!"

"Please Sir, can we have some more?"
