Second free practice: M. Schumacher fastest

The lap times during the second free practice were about the same as those of this morning. The rain had stopped, but the circuit had not dried up yet. Plenty of drivers spun off track, Da Matta even managed to get the session stopped while his crashed Toyota was hoisted of the tarmac.

Both Minardi's bettered their times compared to this morning. Especially Justin's 1.27.018 was impressive. Jos improved during his last few laps but got stuck on a 1.28.246.

Both Ferrari's had a good fight between them. In the end it was Michael who was faster. Rubens managed to stay in front of the surprising Fisichella on third.
