Second Saturday training

Published on 28 June 2003 by Huub Rothengatter

In the second practice of today Olivier Panis' time of the first session was not matched by anyone. Fastest was Ralf Schumacher in his BMW Williams. Montoya and Coulthard made a good attempt, but Panis' time was better than anyones.

Again only small errors for some drivers. Only Barrichello had a little trip off track and Mark Webber parked his car at the end of the straight after a spin in the last corner.
Even Jos, who came out 20 minutes into the session, had to brake hard only once; at the end of the straight just before the first corner. He kept his cool and continued his lap.
Jos did only 9 laps, again and went 0.5 seconds faster than this morning. Justin Wilson had to stop after his 11th lap due to technical problems.

Below the combined times of the first and second free practice.
