No BAR, Jos 17th

At the Circuit of Magny Cours the first free practice has just finished. The fastest laps were timed at the end of the session while the track dried up. Mark Webber was fastest in his Jaguar. He was more than a second faster than second man Ralf Schumacher. Jos set a good time during the last few minutes. He put himself on place 17, four tenths faster that Justin Wilson.

The confiscated BAR cars have been given back to the team

BAR was not to be found on the track. Yesterday their cars were impounded in connection with a legal matter. If the team will manage to get the cars back before the qualification is not known.

UPDATE:BAR has won their court case and the cars have been returned to the team. This means they can participate in the prequalifying session of the French Grand Prix.
