Jos:"Bad luck, but still a good feeling"

Jos Verstappen has not set a qualifying time due to an engine problem. This means he will be the first one out tomorrow to set a time.
We just spoke with Jos and he explained the problem he encountered:"The engine's revs were very irregular and high, this indicates that something is wrong. What is exactly is we did not know at the time. To avoid the risk of a fully disfunctional engine and a damaged chassis we decided not to go out for a prequalification lap."
Jos Verstappen.
Disappointing after an excellent morning. Jos: "This morning was very good. I had to work for it though. We are in Italy and the team decided to put our test driver Gianmaria Bruni in the limelight."
Bruni was sent out with a very good setup and was faster than Jos Verstappen during some time. "Bruni did a good job but not good enough. We worked on our setup focusing on Bruni's time. People do expect this of me and when we succeed, it gives me that bit extra and a good feeling." according to Jos. His laptime of 1.23.999 was 0.7 seconds faster than his fastest lap during the test 1,5 weeks ago.

Jos told us it is the usual recipe for tomorrow. He said: "Anything can happen during qualifying but normally the last few gridplaces are known. I will do my utmost to keep at least one Jordan behind me."
