Various websites have posted a fake story as an e-mail stating that Jos Verstappen would depart the Minardi team to step over to Jaguar. A prankster made it look like if Minardi had sent out a press statement stating the above mentioned. Successful joke, considering other media copied the story without verifying the authenticity.

The editorial team of the Official Jos Verstappen Info Page cannot either confirm or deny the above. Jos Verstappen's management is engaged in talks with Minardi as well as 4 other Formula 1 teams. As soon as it is known which team Jos will be driving for next year this page will be the first to make the news public.
