Successful Minardi two seater event with Jos Verstappen

Jos Verstappen can look back to a successfull and fun day at the Misano circuit where he, together with some other drivers, drove guests round in one of the Minardi two seaters. Jos clocked the fastest time (1.19.5) of all drivers (beating Nicolas Kiesa, Robert Doornbos and Paul Stoddart) who were present. Jos: "that lap I had Harrie Muermans in my car, that was twice the fun!"

Not only Harrie Muermans was impressed, but all his guest had a good day. Only happpy faces, according to Jos who didn't need much time to get back into his 'old' rythm. This was confirmed by Huub Rothengatter, who had a few laps with Jos. "Absolutely insane" Huub yells down the phone from Italy. "I haven't sat in an F1 car since 1986. You can't compare the cars from then and now. The braking power, cornering speed....phenomonal!" It was less phenomonal for Huub's stomach: "I saw today's lunch twice, it's somewhere on the paddock now..."
