Seatfitting for Jos at HVM
Published on 21 March 2005 by Huub Rothengatter
At 10am (local time Indianapolis) we spoke with Jos by telephone to find out how things are going. He is in the US to have a seat fitted and - if needed - have adjustments made to the car with which he will be doing a test at the Sebring circuit on Wednesday. Jos left Brussels at 10.30am by aeroplane to Chicago where he landed at 1pm local time. He then had to drive another 3 hours to Indianapolis.
"I have met quite a few people already" Jos tells us, "Of course I have spoken with 'my' engineer. The car is no problem, everything will be made to fit. Pedals are in the correct position, nothing has to be changed there. HVM is very professional, people are very enthusiastic and the car looks impressive. My first impression is a good one. Tonight or even tomorrow morning we will leave for the Sebring circuit. I can hardly wait till Wednesday!"
