Testday with HVM was a success

At least this is what we may conclude from Jos's positive comments.

Jos Verstappen's first appearance in the Champs Cars with HVM was excellent. Jos Verstappen walked passed Raymond Vermeulen just when we were speaking with him. Jos grabbed the phone from Raymond Vermeulen and told us: "For my feelings it went fine. It didn't take me long to get used to the car but we still decided to do long runs in the morning to become one with the car. After the lunchbreak it went better and of course faster."

In total Jos drove 98 laps: "I've enjoyed every minute in that car It is quite different with metal brakes, no traction control, no gear paddles on my steeringwheel and no power steering. I have to admit that I'm not all that tired. I haven't driven a race car for one and a half years but my physical condition is in excellent shape.”

Jos wasn't just happy with the car but is very praising about the HVM team. Jos doesn't behave like a spoiled F1 driver, but instead just like a normal guy and therefore the people are very friendly. "Those people are very driven, enthusiastic. I had a good time with them."

According to Raymond Vermeulen the team was very impressed with what Jos showed them on Wednesday. On Thursday the team has organised a Mexican PR day, so Jos won't be testing.
