France fastest in third free practice

In dry and sunny circumstances the last of the A1GP free practices has finished. Fastest was France in a 1.15.421. Jos Verstappen clocked an eighth time in his orange car; 1.16.707. He drove a total of 22 laps without any major problems.

Jan Lammers is very happy with his efforts. "We have just started. In about 3-4 races the picture might be different. We have improved compared to yesterday, continuous progression. Jos is working with Graham Taylor to discuss the details and find where the weak spot are in an effort to erradicate them. That full second gap? Well, it's just that you have to drive your best lap on your new tyres. It all has to happen at once. For now it would be nice if we could qualify within the top 8. With Jos's racing capabilities that should offer a good perspective for tomorrow's race." Jan Lammers added.
