Today Jos Verstappen has tested the new Arrows at the circuit of Estoril (Portugal). He drove a total of 18 laps, his best laptime was 1:23.53. Ricardo Rosset didn't test today. Mika Hakkinen sure has made a come-back by setting the fastest testing time in the morning session at 1:20.87. Michael Schumacher did not drive today because of gearbox problems (where did we hear that before?). See Estoril test results for detailed information.

While Jos Verstappen was testing in Estoril today, Jacky Oliver and Verstappen's main sponsor Philips Car Systems International were in Frankfurt (Germany) signing a sponsor contract. Due to this contract Jos will be driving with Arrows for at least one year.
