Published on 01 April 2006 by Thorsten Hendriks

Again Jos Verstappen managed to improve his time in this last session but didn't improve his position. He will start the last sprintrace of the first A1GP season from 7th.

Alex Yoong (MAL) managed to grab their first pole position of the season by driving an excellent lap in the last stages of the qualification session. He was too fast for Darren Manning (GBR)and Alexandre Premat (FRA).
