Max stuns the racing world setting fastest lap after fastest lap

If there is such a thing as being on form, Max Verstappen definitely showed he is. After dominating the first day of Formula Renault 2.0 tests at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Tuesday, the Dutchman, testing for Tech 1 Racing, was once again the quickest driver throughout the Wednesday.
"Today was another great day. We were quick in all the sessions and even on used tires we managed to go fast", said Max before boarding the plane after he completed a successful two day test session, set in glorious conditions.
"This morning the circuit was even better than yesterday, which meant I could definitely push harder." The potential of the track conditions combined with Max' talent resulted in a fastest lap close to a second quicker than his table topping time on the Tuesday: 1:42.5s. "My fastest lap would have given me pole position during the FR 2.0 race earlier this year." In fact, it broke the official FR 2.0 Barcelona track record!
Unofficial lap times Barcelona, November 13:
Max Verstappen 1:42.5 Hans Villemi 1:42.8 +0.3s Beitske Visser 1:42.94 +0.44s Steijn Schothorst 1:42.95 +0.45s Egor Orudzhev 1:43.1 +0.6s Simon Tirman 1:43.1 +0.6s Andrea Pizzitola 1:43.27 +0.77s Vasili Romanov 1:43.8 +1.3s Francisco Mora 1:43.9 +1.4s Josef Zaruba 1:44.2 +1.7s Lance Stroll 1:44.4 +1.9s Philo Paz Patric Armand 1:44.5 +2.0s
After another successful test session in Formula Renault 2.0, Max will now switch his attention to the last karting event of the season, the CIK-FIA World Championship KF in Bahrain. Max is leading the standings after the first round. If he manages to clinch this title, it will mean he has won every single championship he entered this year.
As always, the Verstappen Info Page will provide you with the latest news regarding Max and his hunt for another world title.
