Max to test Team Motopark Formula 3 at Valencia

After nine test sessions in a Formula Renault 2.0, a new challenge awaits Max Verstappen on Wednesday December 18, as he will test a Formula 3 car at the Valencia Circuit. It will be Max' first time in an F3 and the double European champion and world champion KZ karting will conduct this two day test session for Team Motopark.

Formula 3 is a step up the single seater ladder compared to FR2.0, but Max is confident he can adapt well: "I'm really looking forward to drive a Formula 3 car as they have more grip and downforce than an FR2.0 which means you can break later and go faster through corners. So I'm very much looking forward to working with Team Motopark at Valencia!".

Max accepted the invitation from the German outfit, which took the title in the German ATS Formula 3 Cup in 2013, to gain more valuable experience in a racing car to prepare himself for his first season in motorsport. Therefore, the F3 test does not alter Max' priority for 2014 as his primary focus is still Formula Renault 2.0.
