Max wins 'Driver Of The Year' trophy

Max Verstappen clinched the most prestigious trophies regarding the WSK 2013 karting season. The talented youngster was crowned champion in the WSK Euro Series KZ1 and the WSK Master Series KZ2. On top of that, he received the trophy for "Driver Of The Year".

The latter prize is well deserved as Max experienced an incredibly successful year in 2013. Next to the titles mentioned above, the Dutchman won the Winter Cup KF2 and he became European champion in both the CIK-FIA European Championship KF and KZ. In the latter category, Max also took the world title as well as securing third place in the CIK-FIA World Championship KF.

Unfortunately, Max was not able to collect his silverware as he is preparing for the Florida Winter Series. Therefore, the CRG team collected the trophies on behalf of Max at the prize gala hosted at the Adria International Raceway.
