On BBC television Tom Walkinshaw stated yesterday that he is talking to 5 different drivers for a seat at TWR Arrows next to Damon Hill. This includes Jos Verstappen and Pedro Diniz who he mentioned explicitly.

On monday Jos will leave for Japan for the final Grand Prix of this year. Jos is still suffering from his stiff neck.

Jorg Mueller who has a test contract with Arrows has tested at Silverstone yesterday.

The construction of Jos´ own Karting circuit in Echt, The Netherlands, is going according to plan. The expected opening will be around Christmas.

The fanclub will have an exclusive scale model of Jos´ Arrows on sale at the Speed & Design exhibit in Utrecht. The scale model will only be sold by the fanclub. Another item on sale at Speed & Design will be a Jos Verstappen yearbook and a Jos Verstappen calendar. Both items can be bought separately.

On Wednesday 9th October, 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, TWR Arrows will be holding a press conference where an announcement will be made concerning the team's technical package for 1997. The press conference will be held at the Bridgestone corporation in Tokyo, Japan.
