HOT NEWS ABOUT SAUBER: Sauber has just announced (15.30 hrs. CET) that they will be using Ferrari engines for 1997 and 1998. The engine, last used at Suzuka 1996, will be badged Petronas-Sauber F1 and will be further developed by Sauber in collaboration with Ferrari. The engine will replace the Ford V10 which will be used by Stewart from 1997 on. Starting november 1 Osamo Gotu will be technical director for the engine department of Sauber. Osamo Gotu was involved with Honda from 1986 thru 1990 leading to five GP Constructors championships. The last three years Osamo Gotu worked for Ferrari.
