Nürburgring first race as a Red Bull Junior

Published on 14 August 2014 by Stefan Meens

Fresh off the back of becoming a Red Bull Junior, Max Verstappen travels to the Nürburgring for the ninth round of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. As always, Max will take to track in his Volkswagen powered Van Amersfoort Racing car.

Upcoming weekend will be the first time Max competes in the prestigious series as a Red Bull Junior. His car, helmet and overall will therefore feature the iconic Red Bull colours and logo alongside Max’ other loyal sponsors.

With three rounds to go, Max sits in second place in the championship behind Esteban Ocon. The Dutchman trails the Frenchman by 95 points and has a 16-point lead over Tom Blomqvist. The goal is therefore clear: score plenty of points and fight for victory!
