Max Verstappen set for Formula 1 debut at VKV City Racing

Witness Max drive off in a Formula 1 car for the very first time at the free VKV City Racing event

The VKV Group, the main sponsor of VKV City Racing, is thrilled to anounce that it is able to bring both Max Verstappen and his new F1 team, Scuderia Toro Rosso, to the 2014 edition of VKV City Racing, Sunday 31 August 2014. Max’ impressive career has rapidly propelled him from karts via Formula 3 into F1 and on the 31st of August, VKV City Racing offers race fans the unique opportunity to witness Max’ first miles in a Formula 1 car at this spectacular event held in the streets of Rotterdam. 

VKV Group’s General Director Chris Visscher is excited for the upcoming edition of the event: “Here at the VKV Group we were over the moon when we heard Max would make his F1 debut at VKV City Racing. At first, we wanted Infinity Red Bull Racing to drive at the 2014 event but then we opted for the sister outfit, Scuderia Toro Rosso. That decision was a no-brainer as we want to celebrate Max' signing with the team. Max is an incredibly popular guy and it’s terrific for the Dutch race fans that they can witness his F1 debut”, concludes Visscher.
