At 16.00 hrs. today a sponsorship deal between Bavaria, a Dutch beer brewery, and the Jos Verstappen Kartcenter has been signed. The board of Bavaria, the Swinckels brothers, have personally signed the deal just now.

The new kartcenter is opened officially on January 17, 1997. The kartcenter also has a shop with Jos Verstappen items and the fanclub will move to it too. The kartcenter will open unofficially on December 20 for trial runs. It will be one of the finest tracks in Europe, from the outside it looks more like a high-tech F1 factory than a karting track. The center is equipped with Top-Karts.
