On January 20 the new Tyrrell Ford 025 Challenger will be presented to the public. The next day, January 21 1997, the team will start with the test programme on four circuits in England, Spain and Portugal.

Last weekend Jos has won a charity Karting match in Vienna, Austria. The match was being held for the 'Licht im Dunkel' (light in darkness) event which supports sick children. Jos won finishing before among others Damon Hill and Gianni Morbidelli.

In response to many questions about Jos' contract with Tyrrell: Jos has signed a contract for the duration of 1 year. He has an option for an extra 2 years which makes a total of 3 years.

On December 19, 12.30 hrs., there will be a rerun of an interview with Jos that was done last year for Teleac television.
