Max Verstappen choses #33 and#MaxV3rstapp3n

Max Verstappen has confirmed he will be racing in Formula 1 with car number 33, when he makes his début for Scuderia Toro Rosso at the Australian Grand Prix in Melboure. It took a little while before the decision for Max' car number was definite. The Dutchman's favourite number, three, was already taken and the FIA had to approve his number of choice. 

Max explains why he chose #33: “Since I was a young kid I raced around with this number. So I thought it would be nice to keep it in F1 as well!”

Max' Toro Rosso team mate, Carlos Sainz, picked 55 as his number with #Carlo55ainz as his hashtag. Max has opted for #MaxV3rstapp3n as his.
