On his second and last day of testing for Jordan Nigel Mansell only did 16 laps on a wet Circuit de Catalunya. He clocked a best time of 1:45.79 while Ralf Schumacher did 1:43.51. Mansell was the slowest man on the track on both days, even Pedro Diniz in an Arrows was faster than Mansell. Mansell has promised Jordan an answer in the next few weeks about wether to return to F1 or not. Personally we have our doubts.

Lola has confirmed its driver line-up for 1997. Ricardo Rosset and Vincenzo Sospiri will be the defenders of the crown for Lola next season.
