Jos has been at Tyrrell today to do his first seat fitting session. In 1997 Jos will drive Tyrrell number 18 and teammate Mika Salo will drive number 19. We would like to thank all fans who have expressed their congratulations to Jos with the choice of his new team.

Jordan, on the lookout for an experienced driver to partner rookie Ralf Schumacher, is offering Nigel Mansell a test drive next week for two days (December 11 and 12) at Barcelona. Eddie Jordan emphasized that "There's no commitment from either party beyond this test" but if the test goes to plan, Mansell could be considered as a rival to fellow-Briton Martin Brundle for the second seat. Mansell is rumoured to be asking around five million pounds for his return.
