Life size replica of Max' STR in Montfort
Published on 17 June 2015 by Stefan Meens
It took a lot of work, but a home-made replica of Max Verstappen’s Scuderia Toro Rosso racer has found its way to Montfort. There the attraction will feature at Dancing Housmans where fans, together with Frans Verstappen can watch the Austrian Grand Prix live upcoming Sunday.
“It’s beautiful”, says granddad Frans, talking about the replica of his grandson’s F1 racer. The car was gifted by a group of people from Breezand, who originally build it for a flower show. Frans is delighted with the gift. “Together with these folks from up north and local Max fans, we painted the car. And yes, the Red Bull livery just happen to be my favourite colours”, laughs Frans.
Upcoming Sunday, Dancing Housmans will once again transform into the place to be to support Max Verstappen during the next Grand Prix. As always, there is plenty of parking nearby and fans are able to purchase all the Max Verstappen/Scuderia Toro Rosso merchandise at the venue.
“It’s brilliant to see how popular Formula 1 has again become. Max really made an impression.” As always, everyone (in particular dads as it is Fathers Day) is welcome. Entry is free.
