All drivers for this year's F1 Championship are now known with the announcement of the second Minardi-Hart driver. This will be Jarno Trulli, who won last year's German F3 Championship in the Benetton Junior team and who is part of the 'Benetton family' to which Minardi also belongs for 70 percent. 22-year old Italian Trulli begun karting at the age of nine and has already tested for Benetton F1 last October. Brazilian Tarso Marques will be Minardi's test driver.

Martin Brundle will take place in the board of directors at TWR Arrows after being set aside by Jordan for rookie driver Giancarlo Fisichella. Besides this Martin will also become lead driver in the Nissan GT for the 24-hours race. Martin Brundle, F1-veteran with 158 races, said about this: "This is a great challenge and an opportunity for me to explore a management position while still being actively involved in a driving programme."
