Reaction Charles after Silverstone practices

Phil Charles, chief race engineer of Scuderia Toro Rosso, after the Friday practices in Silverstone: “Overall, a pretty good day for us at a track that definitely suits our car better. Both drivers were happy with the car straight away and settled in nicely. We knew Carlos would be strong, as he had already tested here with us before, and Max was also very good today.”

“They are both pleased with today, even though we still have some homework to do overnight regarding the tyres. We suffered from a little bit of front graining, but we have plenty of useful data from today’s long runs in order to understand this and deal with it before race day.”
