Max, happy 18th birthday!

Last year, Max celebrated his seventeenth birthday in Japan, only to rewrite history three days later on Suzuka, being officially the youngest driver ever to debut during a Formule 1-weekend. But today, at home, Max reaches the magical age of eighteen. Too much time is, however, not wasted on this special event. The profession of being a fulltime Formule 1-driver, is not a nine to five nor a weekend job.

Max flew back home from Japan on Monday, only to be engaged in a jam packed schedule with media obligations on Tuesday. Even this Wednesday, the 30th September, Max’ agenda is not empty: today he is off to Milton Keynes, where the Red Bull simulator awaits him. That’s why his birthday was celebrated, only with his inner circle, on Tuesday evening.

On behalf of the whole team of Verstappen.nl, we wish Max a great eighteenth birthday and also a successful sporting year!
