Second free practice in Austin cancelled because heavy rainfall

The second free practice for the USA Grand Prix has been cancelled due to heavy rainfall. As a precaution, not to jeopardize the safety of the marshals, due to the approaching shower, the start of the session had already been postponed.

One hour after the second free practice should have gotten under way, word was out that there would be no more practice sessions on Friday as the medical helicopter couldn't be implemented, due to the poor weather conditions. For the remainder of the weekend, more bad weather is expected in Texas. How this will affect the proceedings or if the schedule, as a consequence of this, will be changed is everyone’s guess.
