Jos Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Sr have a seat in the STR10

The fathers of Scuderia Toro Rosso drivers Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz, Jos and Carlos Sr, hopped into their sons' Formula 1 racer on Saturday afternoon. The surprise 'seat fitting' was one of the many spontaneous activities the F1 teams came up with whilst qualifying for the USA Grand Prix was delayed.

Red Bull Racers Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat showed the fans a dance routine, whilst Nico Rosberg played some football with Niki Lauda. Others opted for the team approach with the Williams mechanics 'rowing' done the pitlane and Force India bob sledding across the slippery concrete in pitlane.

Max and Carlos were competitive as always. This time they went head to head in a game of bowling, featuring Red Bull cans as the pins. Their fathers, becoming increasingly bored, decided to put on a team overall and hop into their sons' STR10s. For everyone involved, it was a special moment.
