USA GP: qualifying scheduled for Sunday

Qualifying for the American Grand Prix has been postponed to Sunday. Due to the heavy rain, the track conditions were not suitable for Formula 1 cars. Qualifying is now set to start at 14:00 GMT.

The FIA tried to wait as long as possible in the hope that the rain would stop and the conditions would improve. The session's start time was therefore postponed by 30 minutes several times. After three hours, the FIA made the definite decision to have qualifying on race day.
