Max looking forward to Brazilian GP: “One of my favourites”
Published on 10 November 2015 by Mike Motilall
During the Brazilian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen will be, for the third time now in this campaign, on a track where he has already driven in a Formula 1-car. After Suzuka and Austin, the young Dutchman was on Autódromo José Carlos Pace, also known as Interlagos, for the third free practice for the Scuderia Toro Rosso team.
“I am ready for Brazil. I really enjoyed it there last year during first free practice", Max tells us. “It was only my third F1 outing of my carreer and I remember feeling much more confident than the previous two free practices in Suzuka and Austin. The track layout is very nice to drive, it has certainly become one of my favorites and I'm really looking forward to driving here again!"
“Even if there's a long straight, it will suit our car a bit better than in Mexico, which is good, as now we are only six points behind Lotus and we need to close the gap a bit more and continue fighting for that sixth position in the Championship! It's also special because it's anticlockwise, and so it's another challenge for us."
