Mika Salo and Jos Verstappen seam to be drivers with the same skill. On Saturday, both drivers did do long testing. Jos drove a total of 100 laps, including one long test in which he completed o total race distance. His fastest lap time was 1:23.86. Jos told us that he was very satisfied with the results and progress they were making. Specially the fact that during the long testing of the day, there were no technical problems. Salo also drove a lot of test rounds during the Saturday. His best time of the day was 1:23.71.

Fastest time of Saturday was set by Gerhard Berger in 1:22.15 just followed by Alesi in 1:22.20. Frentzen his best time was behind the both Bennetons in 1:22.79 followed by Fisichella who was only a bit faster then both Tyrrels in a time of 1:23.42.

Today (Sunday) Jos did not drive but Salo did. However no times are available yet but we will tell you more later....
