We still owe you the times of yesterday's session at Jerez. Jos did a time of 1m24.73s while Salo did a 1m23.98s lap. Mika Salo drove a total of 40 laps. He only did short runs yesterday, just like Jos. The Dutchman first had to do a shake down test Thursday morning. In this test the basic functioning of the car is being checked. This was needed because the car of Verstappen was completed only on Wednesday night. Jos and Mika will both drive tomorrow, on Sunday and Monday testdriver Toranosuke Takagi will take over.
Besides Tyrrell, Benetton is also present at Jerez. Alesi and Berger did some endurance runs yesterday. Berger was the quickest of them with a time of 1m23.2s Alesi was only 0.2s slower.
