Phil Charles: “A really interesting day”

Phil Charles, chief race engineer of Scuderia Toro Rosso, says after Friday in Bahrain: “A really interesting day. We started the cars with quite similar set-ups but through the two sessions we have split the cars in several ways to try to put together a picture for the rest of the weekend. In free practice 2 we had Carlos long-running the medium and Max the soft tyre. As engineers we now have quite a busy night with plenty of homework to do!"
